A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you.
~Brigitte Bardot
PHoto Sisters officially started in 2012 when two sisters, we (Holly and Pattie Jo) were asked to take pictures for some family and friends. We always had a love for photography, but never really focused on doing it for others. After a couple of shoots, we were hooked on capturing moments for others to cherish. Both of us have full time careers. Holly is a teacher and I am a police officer. We also have a combined gaggle of children who are patient enough to sit with us through impromptu photo shoots. We were born and raised in western Wisconsin, but Holly currently resides in the north metro area.

Prior to shooting people, we have traveled around the country on "Sissy Vacations" photographing the sites. On those trips, we photograph to document the places we see.

Photographing people is a completely different game. Whenever we capture that "one" shot that says a thousand words, we are awestruck by the power of the medium. One thing, though, that we noticed lacking in the field was fun. When a person is having fun while their picture is being taken, they experience a whole different attitude. They get that elusive "twinkle" in their eyes. So that is what we do. We bring the fun to the shoot. We want those we photograph to walk away with not only great pictures, but also a great memories.
