~Babies~

Babies are great! They're cute, they smell good, the don't talk back, and they're cute. For some reason, everyone we know is having a baby. This gives us a lot of babies to photograph. Currently, it is very on trend to have pictures of the babies in unrealistic poses. We tried one baby and realized it is not possible.

Sleeping babies photograph so much easier than the awake ones. That being said, when the baby is awake and content, you can capture some great moments. When awake, we don't manipulate them too. Everything is easier if we can keep them happy!

Photographing a baby with a pet is a tricky job. If the pets work well, the babies don't and vice versa. Pretty sure it's Murphy's Law... Could be wrong though.

Senior Picture Season

From Junior to Senior...

The end of the school year always brings with it excitement...  Excitement for those anticipating graduation and excitement for those who are finally SENIORS. With that comes the advent of senior pictures. This can go one of two ways: horrible or amazing. We love making it a positive event with photos that will remind them of that summer. Jessi, Class of 2013, was a great subject to work with. In the beginning, she was a little shy... but by the end we were able to coax out plenty of real smiles. This photo event should be fun for everyone involved!

A real smile!!!
NO reason to be afraid of fun prints and colors!

A yearbook

This should be an amusing shoot. Although the pictures are posed, there should be an element of individuality between each person. This is a student's final school picture. This is why we stress the importance of fun, professionalism, and individuality in each shoot. Parents should be able to look at these pictures and see both the child they raised and the adult he or she is becoming! Those who are photographed should be able to look at these photos and remember the momentous transition they encountered that summer.

Pictures taken at multiple locations.
